Kathleen Lisson

Kathleen Lisson is a certified lymphedema therapist, therapeutic massage and bodywork therapist, author of Plastic Surgery Recovery Handbook, and the owner of Solace Massage and Mindfulness in San Diego. Kathleen holds a Bachelors of Applied Science degree in massage therapy, but her training certifications do not end there. She is also a Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy certified master aromatherapist, Mclean Meditation Institute certified meditation teacher, and an ACE-certified personal trainer.

Kayla Lopez

In 2019, Kayla joined the LJCSC dream team as a patient care coordinator and quickly grew into leadership roles thanks to her strong clinical background and deep empathy for patients. Today, she’s the Clinic Manager and Lead for Dr. Luke Swistun.

Kiersten Riedler, MD

Dr. Kiersten Riedler was born and raised in San Diego and graduated from Harvard University with honors in neurobiology and a foreign language citation in Spanish. She earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, where she also completed a 5-year residency program in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery. At USC, much of her training took place at LAC+USC Medical Center, also known as LA County Hospital, where she predominantly cared for underserved, Spanish-speaking patients. Dr. Riedler is fluent in written and spoken Spanish and became a certified medical interpreter at LAC+USC Medical Center. After residency, she completed a one-year fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Beverly Hills.

Laura Cain

Laura Cain is a well known San Diego radio personality, traffic reporter, Radio Hall of Fame member, and social media influencer. With her two morally corrupt best friends, Linda and Erik, they host the Laura Cain After Dark podcast.

Lauren

As our friendly and supportive patient coordinator for the Signature Skinny Shot weight loss program, Lauren is here to guide you every step of the way on your weight loss journey, ensuring you feel confident and cared for. With her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, she brings solid medical knowledge to her role, making her a trusted resource. Her background in psychology also gives her a unique ability to connect with you on a deeper level, helping you feel understood and supported. She knows starting a weight loss program can feel a little overwhelming, but she’s here to make the process as smooth and encouraging as possible.

Linda-Anne Kahn

Linda-Anne is dedicated to providing personalized and integrative treatments that empower individuals to manage their health challenges effectively and live fuller lives. She is not only a highly skilled lymphatic drainage massage therapist but also a holistic health practitioner and nutritional and lifestyle coach who approaches every client with care and understanding.  Her philosophy centers on creating customized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual.

Lori Saltz, MD

Lori H. Saltz, M.D decided at a very young age to become a surgeon. Her passion for structure, delicate work, and human interaction came into clear focus through her medical education, where she earned high praise for her attentive surgical technique. Dr. Saltz’s patients deeply appreciate that she can relate to them as women, and that she has firsthand knowledge of the physical changes that come with childbearing.

Luke Swistun, MD

Dr. Luke Swistun is a board-certified plastic surgeon with a background in visual arts and medical military service. He’s known for his artistic approach to plastic surgery and for the close, supportive relationship he forms with every person he treats. As a plastic surgeon, Dr. Swistun has years of general surgery and plastic surgery training. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois. He completed his general surgical training while in the navy and continued his Plastic and Reconstructive training at the University of Utah. After serving as a naval medical officer and deploying with the U.S. Marines during active conflicts, he completed his general surgery training, and subsequently focused on pursuing what he truly felt is his calling: reconstructive and plastic surgery.

Marie Olesen

Marie Olesen, La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery Centre’s leader, has spent her entire professional life helping good doctors take better care of their patients and helping patients find the good doctors. When Marie’s husband, R. Merrel Olesen, MD, founded LJCSC in 1988, there was little understanding of the needs of cosmetic patients. To make sure their patients were happy, Marie began surveying LJCSC patients and has done so continuously for 31 years. A self-admitted data junkie, she loves exploring patient feedback for insights that can help LJCSC and other practices better serve their patients. She is known as an innovator in cosmetic patient care and communication. She is an author, speaks nationally and internationally, and serves on the Board of the Center for Services Leadership at Arizona State University.

Miriam

Miriam has more than 10 years of experience working with patients and their families in both surgical and medical spa environments. After working in Bakersfield, she recently moved back to San Diego, where she was born and raised. Miriam is bilingual and loves to make people laugh. She loves dancing, traveling, the beach, and taking selfies.

Phoebe Davis

Phoebe Davis is an entrepreneur, signed model, former competitive bodybuilder, and reality TV star from the dating show Cosmic Love. Her goal with her newsletter, The Flex Zone, is to help women become their best selves by teaching them how to flex their mind, body, and soul.

Ruth

Nurse Ruth has served patients at LJCSC for over twenty years. Her earliest introduction to LJCSC was through her father who served the practice as an accountant in the early years. After nursing school, she worked for several years as an emergency room and urgent care nurse before landing a position at LJCSC at age 27. She loved it so much, the rest is history!

Tati Santiago is a mother of three, co-host of Star 94.1’s Jessie and Tati in the morning, and co-founder of Better To Give SD.

Treger Strasberg

Treger Strasberg formed Humble Design, a national non-profit in 2009 to assist families coming out of homeless shelters with the process of rebuilding their home lives. The mission: to turn four bare walls into a clean, dignified and welcoming home by repurposing gently used household goods. Humble Design was born out of the belief that families emerging from homelessness deserve to come home each day to a clean, friendly, and dignified home. Many of these families have left behind all personal items upon escaping and entering an emergency shelter. Most have no beds, books, toys or furniture to call their own. Humble Design currently has the capacity to assist up to 11 families per week in 5 cities nationwide. Treger gathered her experience from working in the advertising and marketing arena for 10 years and her BFA from SVA and non-profit management certificate from Harvard and applied them to helping real people with real problems. Vanessa is a tattoo artist who specializes in scar camouflage and restorative micropigmentation. She works closely with plastic surgeons to help patients take their results to the next level using color, care, and craft.
